About Crazy Taxi

Crazy Taxi is the spiritual successor to one of the most influential arcade driving games ever made. Pick up passengers, race them to their destinations, and earn tips for arriving on time — and bigger tips for arriving in spectacular fashion. Drift around corners, hop curbs, weave through oncoming traffic. The clock is always running, and the city does not care that you are in a hurry.

The structure is simple. Each fare gives you a destination and a time limit. Deliver before the clock hits zero and the next fare extends your time. Miss the limit and the run ends. The goal is to keep that loop going for as long as possible while collecting bigger and bigger tips.

How to Play

WASD or Arrow keys — drive, brake and steer.
Space — handbrake. Use it to skid around tight intersections without losing time.
Pull up next to a glowing passenger to start a fare.
Follow the arrow on screen to your drop-off location.
Don't stop driving. Every second of idle is a tip you didn't earn.

Tips & Strategy

Aim for the bonus moves. Near-misses, jumps and drifts add tip multipliers. Driving cleanly is slower than driving wildly.
Use the handbrake at intersections. Plant the rear, swing the nose, accelerate out — much faster than a wide turn.
Cut corners through plazas and parks when the route allows. Straight lines beat road grids.
Pick passengers with short trips first to build your time bank, then chase the long-distance fares for big payouts.
